Australia has some of the most unique timbers in the world.
These include Marri (Eucalyptus calophylla) , She-oak (Casuarina fraserana), Banksia (Banksia serrata), and Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata).

To preserve these, Jahdav Designer Woodcraft has adopted an environmental ethos that supports the future of both the forests and the timber industry.
With the support of property developers in Western Australia Jahdav Designer Woodcraft have initiated it's own recycling program. Local timbers such as Marri (Eucalyptus calophylla) , Sheoak (Casuarina fraserana), Banksia (Banksia serrata), and Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) that would otherwise have been burnt or broken down for mulch have been saved.
David personally selects and mills the timber to suit each individual item.
Highly figured timbers are very rare , so through the selection of timber to the preparation of the design, production and final presentation, Jahdav Designer Woodcraft are able to capture and display the uniqueness of the timber selected to suit each individual item of furniture.
