Q: Are all the doors and drawers soft closing?

A: Yes

 

Q:  Do I need to organize the electrician and plumber?

A: No.  We have our own electrician and plumbers; however, you may choose to organize your own trades.  We will work around what you want.

 

Q: Should the cabinets be installed before the flooring or wall tiles are completed?

A: Yes.  If the cabinets are installed first, it will have a better finish.  However, we can also install cabinets after flooring and wall tiles are completed.

 

Q:  Is stone tops a lot more expensive than laminate tops?

A:  No, not in the base range as the stone industry is a lot more competitive.  Today the cost of stone is very viable.

 

Q: What is engineered stone?

A: It is a stone that is resign impregnated which makes it non-porous, stable and more flexible than natural stone.

 

Q: What size do stone slabs come in?

A: The standard slab sizes are 3200mm x 1600mm or 3000mm x 1400mm.

 

Q: Can you supply and install glass splash backs?

A:  Yes, we supply and install glass splash backs in any colour and size that you desire.

 

Q:  Can you remove walls in a house to increase the flow and function of the kitchen?

A:  Yes.  We can remove walls; however, if the wall is structural and load bearing to the roof it will increase the cost of removing the wall as there will need to be a lot more work completed in the project/

 

Q:  Can stone be used as a splash back?

A: Yes, but some engineered stone can not be used as a splash back as the radiant heat from the cook top will cause the stone to discolour.
